Caitlin Clark and Naphessa Collier Draft and Lock In Rosters for 2025 WNBA All-Star Game!
Teams are now SET. The WNBA All Star Game is just days away; a little over a week out. And now we know who shall be facing who on the court. On Tuesday, the Women’s National Basketball Association announced that Caitlin Clark and Naphessa Collier have drafted and locked in their rosters for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game!
This year’s team captains are two dynamic players in the league, Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark and the Minnesota Lynx’s Naphessa Collier. Clark and Collier are two athletes who really respect each other’s game. Naphessa is quoted as speaking very highly of Caitlin when playing against her. Collier mentions, There were a few times she made a few shots and I caught myself like, ‘Dang, I can’t guard that.’ And I don’t really do that often.” So then, game recognizes game.
But even last year this pair had the league shook. Caitlin Clark had one heck of a rookie season; while Collier flexed her veteran muscle. In 2024, Caitlin Clark won the WNBA Rookie of the Year award and Napheesa Collier was awarded the Defensive Player of the Year. Furthermore, Collier led the Lynx in the postseason, averaging 40 points and 5.5 rebounds over first two games vs. Phoenix. Meanwhile, Clark guided the Fever to the playoffs in her first WNBA season, averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds.
Additionally, Caitlin and Naphessa were named Player of the Week in the WNBA (2024), with Collier averaging 25.6 PPG, 9.2 RPG and 3.4 APG; and Clark stunning opponents with 25 PPG, 5 RPG and 9 APG.
And in 2025 both continue to be dominant. As of June 29th, Clark was averaging 18.2 points and a career-high 8.9 assists per game. Collier ranked No. 1 in the WNBA in scoring (a career-high 24.5 ppg) and fourth in rebounding (8.4 rpg) while guiding the Lynx to a league-best 17-2 record.

As one can see, Caitlin and Naphessa are worthy of the captain honor and choosing All-Star teams. Here are their rosters:
Team Naphessa:
- Naphessa Collier
- Breanna Stewart
- Allisha Gray
- Nneka Ogwumike
- Paige Bueckers

Sweet. Moreover, during this drafting process Clark and Collier made just one trade: swapping coaches. Clark swapped Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve with Collier for New York Liberty coach Sandy Brondello. Very interesting.
Nonetheless, the 2025 All-Star game will be on July 19. Mark a calendar. We can’t wait to see who wins!
