So then, if you have found yourself online making a case that Clark or Reese; or both are good enough to be Olympians. This will be the game you will not want to miss. It is the new rookies and All Stars battling several of the veterans.

This game is being played just 6 days before the start of the 2024 Paris Olympics Games. Which will commence on July 26. Therefore, it will also be great practice for the USA Women’s Basketball Team before the roster heads out across the pond in order to face the best in the world.

Furthermore, many are also hoping this format will make the WNBA All Star Game more competitive and entertaining. For years, basketball enthusiasts have been quite unhappy with the NBA’s version of the All Star Game. Feeling that it is no longer exciting or engaging. So then, if the WNBA plays the cards right; they could find themselves with another high viewership, moneymaker event. Especially, if the players themselves will play full out.

So far, it is looking very good for the league. While fans love pitting Clark and Reese against each other, as the league’s “Magic and Larry Bird.” Seeing the pair come together as teammates is also great for sports.

Furthermore, Reese back in her college LSU days spoke highly of Clark and foresaw them being teammates. It’s an interview that tends to get buried for some unknown reason; however Angel clearly states that she would love to play with Caitlin. SI even confirms by stating,

“An old quote from Reese dating back to October 2023 reveals that the then-LSU standout had in fact been hoping to team up with Clark in the future, whether in the WNBA or somewhere else. ‘I love Caitlin,’ Reese said. ‘We’ve been competing since we were in AAU… It was always fun and always competitive.’”

Well, now the two shall finally get their chance. In 14 days Clark and Reese will come together as All-Stars. Tune in to see if they win! ABC Network will broadcast the game on the 20th at 8:30 PM ET.
