Today lives will be changed and never the same. Draft day can be a bit of a nerve-wrecking occasion. Players don’t know exactly how things are going to turn out or go down. But these athletes are not alone as they embark on a professional career in the W. Nonetheless, two of their recent predecessors shared messages to help all newcomers relax and really enjoy their big day. So let’s talk about it, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese send well wishes to the 2025 WNBA draft class.
First of all, Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese took to social media to share her thoughts regarding this year’s draft class. She posted these encouraging words,
“Happy Draft Day! Remember it doesn’t matter what number you get drafted; it’s about WHERE you get drafted! Good luck to all the draftees today! … we getting some rookies today ahhh im sooo excited lmaooo.”
Clearly, Reese is very thrilled for tonight’s festivities. And really so should all women’s basketball fans and supporters of the WNBA. During the broadcast we will get to see where Paige Bueckers, Hailey Van Lith, Kiki Iriafen and Dominique Malonga lands.

In the visual Caitlin tells the draft class congrats and even shoots off confetti in their honor. We love to see it.
