And now we also got kicks news. WNBA player Angel Reese announces that her Reebok Angel Reese 1 Diamond Dust signature shoe release will be coming soon.
Yes, getting the opportunity to be a major component of the game cover for NBA2K as a member of the WNBA is already HUGE. Especially, since she is only the second “W” player to get the honor. Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson appeared on a cover for NBA 2K25. However, for the 2026 edition, Angel Reese now gets the nod.

In fact, gamers will notice Angel on her NBA2K cover rocking the innovative Diamond Dust design. A very nice touch for basketball fans and sneakerheads. Reese excitedly talked about her cover and signature shoe stating,
“Being on the cover of NBA 2K26 and debuting my first-ever signature shoe with Reebok on that cover, the Angel Reese 1, is more than a milestone—it’s a statement. It’s about representation and showing young girls they can be confident, bold, and take up space unapologetically.
To be cemented in NBA 2K history is a special honor that reflects not only my journey, but also all the veteran WNBA players who have paved the way before me and the growing impact of the league as a whole. I’m proud to be part of a game that continues to elevate women’s basketball and can’t wait for fans to see how NBA 2K26 brings our game to life like never before.”
Although an exact date is not known when these shoes will be available. According to Reebok, this inaugural “Diamond Dust” colorway pays homage to the “grit and glam” of Reese’s style of play and what she brings to the sport. The silhouette features a low-cut design similar to the Engine A hoops shoe Reese has been wearing throughout the last year. The lead iteration dons a predominantly white color scheme but has an iridescent shine that can be seen in different lighting conditions.
With the unveiling of the Angel Reese 1, Reese becomes just the second WNBA player with the brand to have a signature shoe. Following the release of WNBA legend Rebecca Lobo’s Reebok Lobo in 1997.
