Aaron Judge Hits First 2023 Season Home Run-All RISE!
All rise, the season is in session and the Judge is here to preside over all Yankee proceedings! The reigning MVP is starting off the game like it is just a continuation of his 2022 greatness. Aaron Judge hits the first 2023 season home run and it leaves none of us surprised in the very least.
Judge is a beast. He works hard, practicing his mechanics, day in and out. And he keeps the right mental attitude regardless of his successes. That’s why he is famous for stating, “I’ve always had that mindset of, ‘OK, I may be hot this month or doing really well this month, but don’t get too high, don’t get too low – just enjoy it.’ Don’t ride the rollercoaster, basically. I always thought about it like, I’m not going to an amusement park, I’m going to a baseball field.”
BARS. Furthermore, Judge is a master of the game and is exciting to watch. Will he be as successful as the 2022 season? Well, if he is, he would literally only be beating himself (last season he broke the American League most home runs in a single season record smashing 62 balls out the park).
Therefore, at this point Judge is only chasing his own legacy. He’s carving out his own path, his own iconic history and we all are just fortunate spectators. What a time to be alive!

Furthermore, Aaron kicking off his and the entire 2023 season by going yard is amazing, but not earth shattering. It was bound to happen. We’ve come to expect the guy to absolutely destroy and demolish pitches like he’s a sniper in ambush. And the man hits his targets!
In the Yankees opening game Aaron faces off with pitcher, Logan Webb of the San Francisco Giants. Judge is down in the count by one pitch (0-1). Which is major, because statistics show when a batter gets behind in the count it can decrease the chances of having a more successful at bat. However, Judge is not average.
Webb fires a Sinker from the mound to Aaron and it looks like a solid pitch. Nevertheless, Judge demonstrates his baseball skills and acumen by getting under the ball and knocking it to kingdom come. Literally, a “balls to the wall” situation.
The Giants center fielder does his best to keep track of Aaron’s obliterated home run ball but there is no play to be made. The king, the legend, Judge strikes again, and it is a beauty. Aaron makes it look easy and that’s how you know the guy is a true, bonafide stud. Can’t wait to see what else happens today and the rest of this season!
