On Thursday it was revealed that the McDonald’s Angel Reese Special is dropping at a restaurant near you and this move signals the brand’s first meal collaboration with a female athlete. Awesome.

Women’s basketball has had quite the lift over the last year or so. As we have watched players turn into superstars and get business opportunities like never before in women’s sports. So then, what will be included in Angel’s signature McDonald’s special meal? Well, you will be able to grab a burger, fries and drink. More specifically, a mouth watering BBQ Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese; with medium or large drink or fries.

But now we come to the most important piece of information. When will this signature meal finally be available for consumers (and no doubt fans) to purchase? McDonald’s confirms that the Angel Reese Special will be available beginning on February 10th.

So this is great news for women athletes. This will continue to open more doors. And this also encouraging for all young girls at home dreaming of getting into sports. The future looks good.
