USC Superstar JuJu Watkins Has Signed an NIL Deal With State Farm

Jake is SUPER busy right now. Like a good neighbor State Farm is always there; especially when it comes to supporting the next big star in women’s sports. This week it has been confirmed that USC superstar JuJu Watkins has signed an NIL deal with State Farm. The USC basketball star is just the second NCAA athlete to sign with the brand, following Caitlin Clark’s agreement last year.

As one can probably imagine, Watkins is very excited about her latest sponsorship and NIL opportunity. Regarding joining forces with State Farm JuJu states,

“It’s an honor to partner with State Farm,” JuJu said. “Not only are they one of the biggest brands in sports, but they’ve also been supporting basketball and the women’s game for decades. I’m excited to share what we’ve been working on together.”⁠

Boardroom broke down a few more details about this partnership. Including some projects that will be in the works to not only help grow women’s basketball but the women’s sports industry in general. The platform reveals,

The USC Women’s Basketball star’s collaboration with State Farm marks another milestone in the brand’s two-decade commitment to supporting and promoting women’s sports worldwide. Fans will see JuJu debut alongside Jake from ⁠State Farm in a Big Ten Network co-branded spot airing on Friday, Nov. 29.⁠

State Farm is also the presenting sponsor of JuJu’s upcoming docuseries, “On the Rise: JuJu Watkins,” produced by UNINTERRUPTED and 4.4.Forty Media.⁠”

Nice. Plus, Watkins is definitely worth all the attention, fanfare and big bucks opportunities. As a freshman she broke records, led USC to the Elite 8 and holds the all-time D1 freshman scoring record. Furthermore, this month JuJu hit another historic milestone. 1,000 points.

It only took 38 games for JuJu Watkins to score her 1,000th career point. In which she is now tied for the fourth-fewest games to reach that mark in D-I WBB history. Additionally, Watkins is the fastest Trojan to reach 1,000 career points (38 GP).
