Buffalo Bills Defeat the Undefeated Kansas City Chiefs
Has to be one of the biggest plays of the year. And by a quarterback. When his team needed him most, good Josh Allen showed up, put the game on his back and got the WIN. On Sunday, the Buffalo Bills defeat the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs in the Bills own home stadium.
Since the wee hours of Sunday morning, Bills fans were energetic and excited all day. You could tell Buffalo was ready for an intense, entertaining battle. They brought they vibes and their team delivered.
The first half was exciting and the score stayed close; one reason being because both franchises defenses were playing hard. The pressure had Patrick off his game a bit as he threw an inception during the Chiefs opening drive. Nevertheless, both teams exchanged blows. The Bills wanted to keep their sizable lead in the AFC East. And Kansas City wanted to remain flawless. With no losses during the season.
As both organizations headed to the locker room at halftime. There was only a two point difference between them on the scoreboard. The Bills were up 14-16.

However, it was in the 4th quarter that the game headed to epic proportions. As the clock was ticking down to the two minute warning the scoreboard read 21-23. The Bills are in the lead.
Then on 4th down Buffalo decides to go for it. Josh Allen keeps the ball after the snap and drops back… he starts scrambling. But not only does Allen get the first down, HE KEEPS GOING! He’s making defenders miss him left and right and he takes it to the house. It is a 26 yard touchdown run!
But there is still 2 minutes and change on the clock. Plenty of time for KC to mount a comeback like they have done so many times. However, today would prove to be much different. While Mahomes did get a nice completion, a penalty bites the Chiefs’ hand. Erasing all progress and then Mahomes throws an interception. Sealing the Chiefs fate and bringing an end to an incredible run.
Kansas City now falls to 9-1. And the Buffalo Bills improve to 9-2. Both of these teams are looking pretty good and have their eyes on the prize… to get to the playoffs and compete for the championship.
The Bills have some big bragging rights. Not only do they hand the Chiefs their first loss for the year, but they end an impressive streak. This is the first lost for the Kansas City Chiefs since Christmas Day.
