Philadelphia is having a so-so season. Currently, the NFL team is sitting at .500 (2-2) heading into their Week 6 battle. However, the franchise would like to improve upon their standings and get into a space that will allow them to compete for a playoff position. Well, there is good news from their camp; several players are returning from the injury list. On Friday, the organization confirms that the Eagles AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith plus Lane Johnson are off the injury report and will play.

Translation: the offense just got a lot stronger. Which is indeed necessary. Without certain guys the team is just not the same. Their last game against the Buccaneers, the Eagles went down 16-33 (a prime example of what occurs when guys are injured). Of course, they need the defense to step up a bit more, but the offense is definitely going to have to pick it up as this season progresses. And with players returning, it can happen.

NFL Network insider, Ian Rapoport helps to break the news about the Eagles’ players returns. He states,

“[The] Eagles WRs AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, plus OT Lane Johnson are all off the injury report and will play.”

Martin Frank, a Eagles/NFL writer for the Delaware News Journal also adds:

“Eagles injury report: Everyone cleared to play. All listed as full participants in practice, even LB Nakobe Dean, who was limited the previous 2 days with ankle injury. Also includes AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Lane Johnson.

Brown had missed the previous three games with a hamstring injury while Smith missed the Eagles’ last game, on Sept. 29 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with a concussion.

When Brown and Smith line up Sunday, along with star right tackle Lane Johnson, who also missed the game against the Bucs with a concussion, it will mark the first time the Eagles have had their starting lineup on offense together since the season opener on Sept. 6.”

With Brown, Smith and Johnson all returning, this will and should be a huge boost for Philadelphia. Who will the organization face next? The Eagles will take part in a matchup against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. They have one of the earlier games of the day.

Furthermore, their opponents the Browns are not having a good start to the season at all. They currently have a 1-4 record. The Browns will have to go all out in order to keep the Eagles from adding another “W” to the win column this week.
