Lewis Hamilton Wins the British Grand Prix
What a drive! What a driver! It was a thrilling and exhilarating race, but only one can come away as the victor. Lewis Hamilton wins the British Grand Prix and gets a home win.
This is a big win for Lewis Hamilton for a plethora of reasons. For one, it has been a little bit of a Grand Prix “drought” for the skilled and talented racer (83 wins with Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team). In fact, if you wish to put it into days; it has been 945 days. However, he worked extremely hard. Grinding to achieve his latest goal and he has done it. This is his first Grand Prix win since 2021.
3 years probably felt like forever. Yet, getting a win will always feel great and make all the time and efforts worth it. Nevertheless, after the race Hamilton spoke about another reason to the press as to why this particular win means so much to him and the team of individuals surrounding him. Lewis reveals,
“I can’t stop crying. Since 2021, every day getting up trying to fight, to train, to put my mind to the task.
This is my last race here at the British Grand Prix with this team so, I wanted to win this so much for them because I love them. I appreciate them so much. I’m forever grateful to everyone at Mercedes.
There’s no greater feeling than to finish at the front here.”
Nice. Congratulations to Hamilton and all involved in helping him achieve this feat. But there is still another reason why Lewis winning the British Grand Prix is not something to be overlooked.
Hamilton made a bit more sports history this weekend. Lewis Hamilton has broken Michael Schumachers record for the most wins at a single circuit (9). Hamilton had been tied with Schumacher with 8. But now has officially broken the record and now stands alone.

Nevertheless, if you are wondering if Roscoe (Lewis dog) got to see his dad win, he did. Roscoe has been spied calmly walking around the paddock getting tons of love and happy scratches from everyone. So the famous F1 pup now has even more reason to be giddily prancing around.
