Last year, the city of San Diego got to enjoy the honor of hosting duties. With the 2023 championship being held at the popular Snapdragon stadium. The very stadium in which the San Diego Wave FC plays.
Nonetheless, for 2024 the National Women’s Soccer League is heading over to Kansas City to play the biggest game of their season. At CPKC Stadium on November 23rd. Which is extremely fitting since CPKC is home of the first sold out women’s sports stadium in the world. It is the first privately financed stadium purpose-built exclusively for a professional women’s soccer team.
CPKC was built with a $125 million budget. Additionally, it is a soccer-specific stadium located in Kansas City, Missouri, that serves as the home ground for the Kansas City Current of the National Women’s Soccer League. The stadium opened for the Current’s first home match of the 2024 season on March 16, 2024.
So then, this is the perfect selection of venue for the championship game. A stadium literally built for women’s soccer. Hats off to everyone who helped make this a reality.

Moreover, the Olympic women’s soccer tournament will be played at stadiums in cities across France, including Nice, Marseille, Lyon, Nantes, Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne and Paris. The semifinals will take place in Lyon and Marseille on Aug. 6. So you’ll be able to enjoy wonderful historical views as well as amazing soccer.
