Caitlin Clark is bringing eyes and audiences to her sport and she’s telling brands that if they want a piece of the success pie; then they need to run her, her coins! Clark was super successful in college when it came to NIL deals including partnerships with State Farm and Nike. Since leaving her college days behind and entering the professional sports realm she’s only gained more influence and more opportunities for lucrative deals. Her latest? We will give you a small hint… (in our Tom Hanks voice)… WILSON! Yep, Caitlin Clark has Signed with Wilson to release signature Basketball collection; the first athlete since Michael Jordan.
Now that is really saying something. Jordan was an athlete that really changed the landscape of the NBA and sports forever. His deal with Nike is the stuff of legends and still makes him easily $250-$300 million a year.
Nonetheless, now Caitlin gets a chance to follow in his footsteps. And do the same in the WNBA. She already has a multi-year Nike deal under her belt which will also include the release of a signature shoe. Broke records with her jersey sales. Now, Wilson will allow her to drop equipment that can be used in the real world for years to come. Epic.
The Wilson brand has already dropped three white-and-gold Clark-branded Wilson basketballs — titled Threes Up, Record Breaker and Crowd Maestro — that feature laser engravings with some of the guard’s signature moments from her time at Iowa.

Nonetheless, Clark will also have some say in design. She will test and advise Wilson ( who is the official game ball of the WNBA) on its basketball gear. Which will only make things better for hoopers everywhere. Real testing by a real player; which will result in optimal performance and finishes.
Clark is excited to get creating magic with Wilson. In an interview with Boardroom she states,
“I think it is super special, and it’s been fun for me. I feel like I was just that young kid who had those basketballs that I would store in the garage. I’m just very lucky and fortunate to partner with Wilson to create something that everyone can enjoy. It connects with a lot of generations, and it’ll be fun to see kids walking around holding them.”
Clark is certainly taking advantage of her immense marketability and making smart moves with her choice of partnerships. We are sure there will be more to come. But it will be awesome to see what her gear with Wilson looks and designs like when they come to fruition.
