Obviously, this is a subjective question and could lead to some heated debates. But we’re all friends here so there’s no need to get hostile or violent. Right? Right. We’re also not going to set parameters, criteria, or any strenuous standards. This is all speculation and opinion-based and strictly for fun.

Who Is the Best Running Back in the NFL? Our Top Three Picks
First up is Christian McCaffrey who played for the San Francisco 49ers. In addition to his rushing attack, he also lead all running backs in receiving yards. The six year veteran continues to be a consistent double threat on the field as he thrives under Kyle Shanahan’s offense. No doubt he will continue his successful NFL career.
Second on the list is Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders. His 1,653 rushing yards made him the rushing king of the 2022 season. His season was electrifying and he was able to handle any situation he was put in with no problem. It doesn’t appear that the Raiders have reached a contract agreement with Josh yet. However, it would seem to be in their best interest to do so sooner rather than later.
Last but not least is Nick Chubbs, stalwart player for the Cleveland Browns. He consistently delivers excellence year after year. For five seasons in a row he has averaged more than 5 yards per carry. It cannot be stressed enough about how important that is to helping a team get first downs to keep the chains moving.
