The NFLPA Released NFL Player Team Report Cards 2024
Sometimes we forget that the NFL consists of players who have real feelings and opinions. They also have a union that tries to look out for their best interests. So with that in mind the NFLPA has released their second annual NFL Player Team Report Cards 2024. The purpose of the report cards is explained by the NFLPA below:
One of our core jobs as a union is to improve the overall working conditions for our players, which includes the daily experience of players at the team facilities away from the lights and cameras. 1,706 of our players provided information to share with one another about their current club, to not only help them make important career decisions, but also help raise standards across the league. Our goals were to highlight positive clubs, identify areas that could use improvement, and highlight best practices and standards.
And because the first Team Report Cards generated positive results, they plan to continue doing them every year. The NFLPA worked in conjunction with Statler Nagle and Artemis Strategy Group to survey the players between August 26 and November 16, 2023. Every player on a 2023 NFL roster at the time of the survey was given access to the online survey. All responses provided by the players were collected anonymously.
There are 11 categories on the report card and can be graded from A+ to F- (how do you get an F-?). Some of the categories are: Treatment of Families, Weight Room, Team Travel, Head Coach, and Ownership. If you want to see how your favorite team ranked, click here. Once you get to the report card you can click on the team name to get a detailed breakdown. Along with an overview and what number they rank out of the 32 teams.

Okay spoiler alert. The Kansas City Chiefs came in 31st place, or second to last in the rankings. With all the winning going on there I just assumed that they would get high marks. But on the bright side, Andy Reid, was the highest rated head coach in the NFL. So the head coach is good but the team overall will need to make some improvements. I won’t ruin anything else for you, you’ll just have to go check it out for yourself.
I’m glad the NFLPA is going to continue with the report cards. This is a valuable tool to help players figure out where they may or may not want to play. And it gives us fans a glimpse inside the various NFL teams and what’s going on behind the scenes.
