Commissioner Roger Goodell got the festivities started by riding a bicycle up to the podium joined by hip hop artist Lil’ Wayne and former NFL terror on the field, Clay Matthews. The scene was set and the crowd was ready as the 2025 NFL Draft Round One selections got underway.
Then just like that… the Titans were on the clock. Deciding who would be the top pick of the draft and also help move and usher their organization into a new modern era. Their pick? Cam Ward of Miami!

Well that’s it for tonight. Interestingly, round one did not see much action in the way of trades until almost the very end. For instance, things kicked off with the Jags moving up and grabbing a pick from the Browns. All so they could get two-way sensation; and also Heisman winner, Travis Hunter.
However, after that teams seemed to stay in their lanes and there was a slight trade drought for numerous picks. Previously, three trades in round one had been the lowest amount on draft night. Whereas tonight we only had one more go down, with four trades occurring. So then, a slightly quiet night for trading.
