2025 NBA All Star Game: Steph Curry Wins MVP and Leads OG’s to Victory!
The NBA veterans put on a show and came away with bragging rights for the year. The Warriors Steph Curry helped lead the OG Team coached by Shaq to 2025 NBA All Star Game glory and picked up another MVP honor in the process. Proving that skills and experience is still a deadly combination on the court.
Steph Curry scored the first points of the final matchup by knocking down a 3. Then helped Shaq’s OGs beat Chuck’s Global Stars 41-25 on Sunday. Scoring 12 points on four 3-pointers on his way to the Kobe Bryant Award as Kia NBA All-Star Game MVP.
Nonetheless, the All Star Game is also about having fun. Seeing the best of the best go at it. And giving us all an elite show, partly of athleticism and mixed with antics.
Curry who is one the best shooters to EVER exist put the crowd in hysterics after shooting and making a shot from half court! After the festivities had ended, Steph discussed the fan favorite play, hosting the star-studded weekend; his other several three pointers in the game; and his thoughts on the new tournament style format. Curry states,
“It was one of those little flurries, just having fun. The half-court shot, I was going to take one at some point. [Nikola] Jokic was picking me up at half court, which was hilarious.
I think it was a good step in the right direction to reinvigorate the game in some way,” Curry said of the format, which split the 12 Eastern Conference and 12 Western Conference All-Stars into teams of eight, going against a fourth team comprising eight first- and second-year players who won the Rising Stars game Friday night. “[However], the format doesn’t allow for, like, a strong storyline to build.
[But] the hosting experience was unbelievable. I’m not going to complain about being tired or exhausted. This is an honor and a blessing to be able to celebrate and share this beautiful Bay Area that’s been a part of my life for the last 16 years and the basketball history and culture that’s here and the amazing fans that are here and the impact that the game being here has had on both cities.”

Nice. Seems like Curry had a great time being there with colleagues, friends, family and of course, the FANS. However, besides being a good host, Steph added onto his legendary status.
Interestingly, Curry doesn’t always get included in the NBA greats conversation. But his stats speak for themselves. With this latest MVP pick up, Curry joined Michael Jordan as the only players in NBA history to win four championships, two scoring titles, two league MVP Awards and two All-Star Game MVP Awards. Congratulations Chef.
