2024 Olympics Men’s USA Basketball Team Roster!
The 2024 Olympics Men’s Basketball Team roster is finally all masterfully put together. By none other than the USA Basketball Men’s National Team managing director, Grant Hill. A position Hill has had since April 3, 2021.
Hill is confident in the team and all of his choices in making the 24’ roster the newest installment of the ‘Dream Team.’ He strongly believes that this men’s lineup will not only strongly compete with the world’s best; but BE the best and bring back a gold medal.
Regarding what went into his thought process and why he is revealing the roster with still 3 months before the Games; Hill says,
“We knew. We didn’t necessarily plan it that way, but we knew this was the team that we wanted, and we also know that there’ll be a lot of interest and a lot of people who will want to be along for this incredible journey we’re about to be on. So if we know, why wait?
Defense] was certainly an area where we needed to be better on and to improve upon, and we have guys that have that as a foundation. The game is much more physical than the NBA game. And so, being aware of that, having guys whose games would translate on that level on the defensive side and offensive side was important. So yes, this is not a knock on any team that we’ve had in the past, but I’m really excited about the defensive potential of this group as we work together and prepare ourselves for Paris.
I learned, certainly the elite teams, the teams that seriously have a chance to contend for a gold medal, I learned the diversity and sort of styles and just the feel of the game overall. You go through a World Cup, you really pick up on quite a bunch.”

The U.S. men have competed in basketball at the Olympics 19 times. During those 19 times they also have garnered 19 medals. 16 gold medals, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal. Therefore, a very dominant display of skills and talent on the global scene.
